Nine Telecom


Nine Telecom is opposed to mis-selling practices in the communications industry. These include ‘slamming’ (an industry term for transferring a customer’s line to another supplier without the customer’s consent), and misinforming or failing to inform customers about issues such as contract lengths, termination charges and service costs.

Due to the high number of complaints about mis-selling received by Ofcom in the past, General Condition 22 was introduced to simplify and clarify how communications providers carry out sales and marketing activities.
